The first video game I've worked on - a short, suspenseful horror visual novel. The story follows three old men trapped in their office by a spirit. It was made in a month for an Itchio game jam. Renbie wrote the script and did coding while I was responsible for the art. This includes: the GUI, character designs, sprites, items, backgrounds and cgs.
The different face parts for each sprite were done on separate layers so expressions could be mixed-and-matched. Due to this, the character sprites alone came out to about 190 files. Backgrounds were edited and redrawn from 3D images provided by Renbie.
The cover was done traditionally with gouache paint - not including the title logo.
Despite being a large amount of work in a limited amount of time, I greatly enjoyed making this!Software used: Clip Studio Paint, Aseprite

2024
A short platformer made for a 4 day game jam. The concept of BBLB was to have the environment change in scale when the player jumps, as they're in the air, following the jam's theme of scaling. I had 2 days to do the art since we spent the first 2 settling on an idea. GugloPWN handled the coding and level design while I was responsible for the character design, character animations, title screen and ending screen. The game icon and checkpoint design as well. Not all art was used in the submitted game.
This was my second ever game jam and the fastest thus far; it taught me how to manage an even shorter deadline.Software used: Clip Studio Paint
Mikko In Hell
2021- 2022
Personal art project spanning several months where I created a digital art book for my original characters. The story is horror themed, following the titular Mikko as he tries to escape a strange city. It was done in the style of a game's book; containing text that explains the plot. Part of my process was researching the stats, items and move-sets in turn-based horror RPGs to come up with my own.
Features both traditional and digital art - it's 88 pages long.Software used: Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop
